How we use it

Part of a ten-minute wind-down: wrap, lights low, and let the morning take care of itself.

  1. Start with dry or slightly damp hair, parted down the middle.
  2. Rest the centre of the rod on the top of your head.
  3. Take small sections from the front and wrap them around the rod, working down one side, then the other.
  4. Secure the ends with the scrunchies, sleep on it (or leave it a few hours), then unwind and loosen with your fingers.

Does it work on short hair?

It works best on shoulder-length hair and longer. Bob-length hair can wrap, but the curls will be looser.

Damp or dry hair?

Slightly damp holds better; dry is more comfortable and still gives soft waves. Try both.

Will it hold all day?

A light mist of hairspray after unwinding helps. Fine hair holds less than thick hair.

Can I wash it?

Hand wash the rod cover in cool water and air dry.
